Message from the Manager

We have just bid adieu to the year 2023 and welcomed the New Year 2024. The year 2023 was marred by unrest in different parts of the world. Russia – Ukraine war and the conflict in West Asia are major tragic events in which hundreds of civilians lost their lives and thousands became refugees. The world economy, which was limping back to stability and growth after the covid pandemic, was threatened again by energy crisis from these wars. However, our nation remained largely peaceful during 2023 except for the disturbances in Manipur. Our economy also attained growth at the pre-covid levels and is considered as the fastest growing economy.
The year 2023 was a blessed year for our school. SSC examination of March 2023 was the first board examination held strictly after 2019 without any relaxation associated with the Covid pandemic. The school had conducted special classes to make up the learning deficiency of our students because of the lockdowns during pandemic period. Our students fared extremely well during the SSC examination 2023 as well. Out of the 122 students who appeared in the exam, 61 secured distinction, 42 secured fist class and 19 students passed in second class. I thank our teachers for their dedication and hard work for this great feat. Our school was among the top 100 most effective schools in the state in implementing the Education Department’s ‘Swachhta Monitor Project’ and was awarded the certificate by the State Government on 31 October 2023.
The school’s infrastructure got a great boost during 2023. A robotic lab for developing the innovative instinct in the students was inaugurated 05 July 2023. The computer lab was entirely revamped by installing new generation computers and other infrastructures. An English lab for improving proficiency of our students in English language was also established in 2023. All our classrooms have smart class facilities, but these are being replaced progressively with latest interactive panels for better learning experience; an initiative in this regard was taken in 2023. The response of the teachers, students and the EPTA for these facilities was very encouraging.
The success of the school during 2023 is attributable to a combination of factors. I have great regard for our dedicated teachers and staff, who work selflessly as a committed team under the Head Mistress for providing dynamic and inspiring education to the students. The school received constructive co-operation from the EPTA throughout the year which was very much helpful in the smooth functioning of the school. I also acknowledge the support received from our students and their parents in the successful performance of the school.
Times are full of uncertainties; we don’t know what we have in stock for 2024. We had faced severe challenges successfully in the past especially in 2020 and 2021 when covid pandemic ravaged the whole world. We should strive to face any challenges which may come in our way during 2024. I am confident that God Almighty, who led us safely through all adversities in the past will lead us successfully through the year 2024 as well.
